With a new year comes new trends! In 2024, we have some holdovers from the past, as well as shifts away from what we’ve seen in years gone by. From terrazzo to 3D surfaces, metallic accents, and Zellige-style tiles, let’s dive in!
Terrazzo
We discussed terrazzo’s popularity in our 2023 Trends blog post, and it looks like this style’s revival is here to stay! Terrazzo has a classic, timeless appearance and comes in a variety of colors to match different aesthetics.
Zellige
This year, the handcrafted look is trending, and Zellige tile certainly falls under this category with its unique, textured look. Inspired by ancient Moroccan tiles, these wall tiles have a long rectangular shape, irregular edges, and a glossy finish. Check out our Zellige tiles in white, light gray, dark gray, midnight blue (pictured above), and emerald green.
Earth Tones
Over the past several years, we’ve seen an emphasis on cool whites, beiges, and grays. Now, however, we’re trending away from a sense of sterility and toward warmer neutrals and earth tones for a more inviting appearance.
Geometric Patterns
We’ve discussed trendy geometric patterns for the past two years (look back at 2022’s tile trends here), but they’re here to stay for 2024. Choose a patterned tile like the one featured above, or create your own geometric patterns using tiles of varying shapes, sizes, and colors for a truly one-of-a-kind look.
Creative Shapes
In recent times, we’ve been straying away from the standard square and rectangular tiles in favor of more interesting shapes like hexagons. Even in neutral colors, tile in creative shapes stands out and provides plenty of visual interest.
Black Marble
Ready to be bold? Black marble is an excellent choice. In contrast to classic white marble, black marble makes a moody, dramatic statement in any room of your home.
Warm Natural Stone
We discussed the shift to warmer neutrals above, and that carries over into this trend of warm-toned natural stone tiles, like the Cappuccino marble pictured above. Natural stone automatically creates a luxurious, glamorous look in any space, but the warmer shades come with a cozier vibe.
Metallic Accents

3D & Textured Tile
